Josh Ring portrait

Composer, music educator, and multi-instrumentalist Josh Ring is currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa. Studying organ with Gregory Hand, Josh is a recipient of a Rahn and Frawley Organ Fellowship from the UI School of Music. Serving as the organist at the Coralville United Methodist Church, he is also an active performer, accompanist, and educator in the Iowa City area. Current projects include the 2018 American Guild of Organists Student Commissioning Project and preparing for a summer recital series. Each year four pairs of organist & composer are selected to collaborate on a new composition. Josh Ring will premiere a new composition later this year currently being written by Joshua Malave.
